The Festival of Folk Culture "The Transfiguration"

Natasha Kukoski was born on 28/01/1989 in Struga. Primary education finishes at the Elementary School "Strasho Pindzur" in Vevcani Secondary education finishes at the Gymnasium "Dr Ibrahim Temo" in Struga, and higher education continues at the Faculty of Mathematics, the Institute of Etnology and Anthropology at “Sts. Cyril and Methodius " University, Skopje.
Since 1998, a member of the ensemble "Drimkol" – Vevcani, where she is actively involved in the work and development of the association. Since 2003, an assistant, and since 2012, the head of the children`s folklore ensemble CAA "Drimkol."
Since 2004, she has been a member of the traveling theater "Bow down and fall” in Vevcani, in which she has played in five theater performances, with the debut performance in the children`s play "the Little Red Hood and the Confused Wolf," where she plays the role of the Little Red Hood.
She becomes a member of the singing group "Kadanka" in CAA "Drimkol" Vevcani as a chorister. From 2010 to 2012, worked as a volunteer administrator at the Tourist Information Center "Vevchani- Info Tourist"
2012 became a member of the Board of Managers of CAA "Drimkol"
From 2012 to 2014 volunteered in the municipality of Vevcani as a Culture Coordinator, at the Department of Culture, while since 2012 she has been a program coordinator and administrator of the CAA "Drimkol" - Vevcani
Since 2013, a member of the expert jury in the field of folklore "X Dance", International Festival in Struga
Since 2013, a member of the expert council of the festival of folk culture "Transfiguration" - Vevcani
Since 2015 she has been employed at the National Institution and Museum - Ohrid.
She has participated in seminars on folklore and reviews of folk costumes.
She has set stage adaptations, coreographic treatments in the field of folklore, emphasizing and promoting the Vevcani culture and tradition.
She has worked on projects supported by the Government of the Republic Macedonia in promoiting the tourism in Vevcani:

  • “Harmony between the culture and tourism, aimed at promoting Vevcani to the world" and
  • "Vevcani’s intangible cultural heritage, a seedling to preservation of the ethnocultural identity"
