Prof. Dr. Velika Stojkova - Serafimovska

PhD. Davorin Trpeski is an Associate Profesor at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology. He was born in Prilep, Macedonia in 1976.
He graduated from the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology at the University of Sts. Cyril and Methodius - Skopje, on "Ethnological and folk elements in the pre evectional campaign in 2000 in Macedonia" and in 2005 he became Master of Ethnology at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology (IEA) in at the University of Sts.Cyril and Methodius - Skopje, on "Virtual models of dwellings in the Macedonian folk masonery. "

In 2010 he acquired the title Doctor of Ethnology at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology (IEA) UKIM - Skopje, on the topic: Creating a cultural policy in the protection of cultural heritage in Macedonia in the post-socialist period.

In 2001 he was elected a Junior Assistant at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius "in Skopje.

In 2006 - Assistant at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius "in Skopje.

2011 - Associate Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius "in Skopje.

In 2015 he was elected an associate professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius "in Skopje.

He was granted scholarships and awards. In 2009 he won the scholarship "Helmut Kohl", for his doctorate theses and publishing a part of it by the Foundation Juste, Spain. In 2008 he won the scholarship "Marie Curie" for a European doctorate awarded for a research stays at the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, Slovakia, and in 2005 he won a scholarship awarded by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Culture for a study stay at the Department of Southeast Europe at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz, Austria.
